SILC is a virtual learning program that offers students the flexibility of completing requirements from anywhere in the world.
The Sports Impact Leadership Certificate is designed for working professionals and the commitment from participants can be estimated between two to three hours each week over a four month period.
Students will follow a weekly schedule which thoughtfully guides them through each topic and includes interaction with SILC’s top-tier faculty as well as fellow students.
The SILC Capstone Project (SILCaP), is a program-culminating assignment in which students have the opportunity to advance professional and personal goals with the coaching of SILC’s industry-leading team of professionals. Each student’s SILCaP will be supported by SILC faculty, leadership and/or individuals from the program’s broad industry network. The SILCaP final work product might include a presentation (in person preferred, but not mandatory), paper or campaign, selection of which is individually tailored to the goal the student has chosen.
Mentoring begins at the start of the program with identification and approval of the student’s chosen goal, includes peer reviews and culminates with editing, oversight and evaluation of the student’s final capstone product.
Students will also receive a detailed resource guide for each topic, to dive deeper into a particular area now or in the future.
