Sports impact leaders have an opportunity to model community acceptance and celebrate the diverse populations which we impact. As we think about scaling, capacity and sustainability it is critical to lead with the goal of equality and inclusion. This session will explore the topic of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) as it relates specifically to those using sport as a tool for social impact. Discover practical tools that can be implemented into your sports impact organization.
The Sports Impact Leadership Certificate, in partnership with Johns Hopkins University AAP, was proud to premier "Healthy Minds Guide Strong Leaders: A conversation about mental health and sports impact" on October 26, 2018. The short film, produced by Wander, was part of the 3rd installment of the SILC Speaker Series, where panelists from the NBA, NFLPA, Moyer Founation, Headspace, Doc Wayne and a Turn 2 Us partner discussed cultivating a culture of openness and support for mental health.
